That was the theme to the Women of Influence 2008 Retreat held at the
Fellowship Deaconry.

It was a wonderful time of fellowship with other ladies where we had the opportunity to become little girls again as we played jump rope, double dutch, tennis, miniature golf and even rolling down a hill of grass.

The evening was capped of with a wonderful one person dramatization.

Looking forward to 2009's retreat!!

Fireproof Night at the Staaten

On September 25th, 2008 Calvary Chapel hosted Staten Island Firefighters to a delicious dinner at the Staaten followed by "Fireproof", a movie about never leaving your partner behind.

All in all the evening was a complete success. Everyone had a wonderful time. Dinner was great, Pastor Dave was an awesome host and the movie shared gospel as clear as can be.

A special thanks to all who helped financially, prayerfully and physically to make this event the success that it was.

Phil opened up the evening with prayer and a heart felt introduction of Pastor Dave.
